World Cup Cricket 2019: Spectators Angry over ICC because of tickets mishandling. Cricket World Cup 2019 organizers have narrated grievances from fans who have been unsuccessful to receive their match tickets, saying the problem is “absolutely normal” for major events and would be addressed.
Fans were expressed to expect delivery six weeks before their match when they bought their tickets. But loads of people who booked the tickets uttered anger on social media after their tickets failed to show up. First and Second match of the Cricket World Cup 2019 were highly disrupted due to the mishandling of the tickets by the International cricket Council.
Various ticket purchasers blogged on Tweeter and Instagram that they had bought tickets for England’s game against South Africa but they have not received the tickets yet. “The organizers haven’t made a statement as to what’s happening and it’s virtually impossible to get through to Ticketmaster to find out,” one of the spectator tweeted, “It’s a disgrace.”
Another fan said he had tried more than 50 times to call “Ticketmaster” but had not got done, while other groups criticized that they had been charged £4.50 for each delivery yet had not got their tickets.
Adrian Wells, director of marketing and ticketing for the Cricket World Cup 2019, assured that everyone would obtain their tickets by the end of the week. He further added that: “The wider story is that it is a record-breaking World Cup with ticket sales – we are going to sell 95% of tickets and going to have packed stadiums. It is going to be fantastic.”
Today also in the 2nd match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, there was an issue with the tickets as the scanners on the gates of the grounds were not working and spectators had to wait in long ques. Many Pakistani supporters left from the que when they came to know that Pakistan got all out within 25 overs of the game.
