PSL 4 5th Match Qalandars Beat Kings 22 Runs

The Lahore Qalandars Pace Attacker Haris Rauf took 4 wickets with a brilliant bowling spell that brought Karachi Kings all out to their knees in defeat in the 5th match of the PSL 4 in Dubai.
Lahore Qalandars Haris Rauf took his bowling to the next level with 4 wickets and helped his side gain a lucrative victory against the Karachi Kings. Lahore Qalandars destroyed Karachi Kings by 22 runs in 5th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL 4) at Dubai Sports City Stadium.
The Kings were chasing 139 run target and got bowled out for 116 runs thanks mostly to Rauf’s spectacular career best bowling spell which claimed 4 wickets for just 23 runs.
The Qalandars bowling attack was decisive in making victory possible against the Karachi side which went down in abysmal defeat.
The Kings won the toss and opted for fielding, the Qalandars openers Fakhar Zaman and Sohail Akhtar provided their side with much needed impetus. Akhtar scored 39 off 25 deliveries and left in the 8thover by which Lahore had 64 runs on the board. Zaman struggled to gain 28 off 26 balls while Ab De Villiers was discouraging and took off with just 3 off 5 balls. Their middle order just wasn’t up to the mark eventually ending their innings 138 for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
The Lahore Qalandars set Karachi Kings with a 139 run target which they could have tackled had they not lost wickets at an alarming rate due to an expceptionally good bowling spell by their fats bowlers, with Rauf taking a brilliant 4 wicket haul. He rightly deserved being Man Of The Match for his efforts this was his career best wicket tally. Play was paused for a hile due to rain in during the 15thover. The 18thand 19thover alone saw the Kings lose massively. 3 quick wickets in the 18thover and 4 in the 19thmade their win impossible to achieve with the quick fall of wickets.
